*MAPS:

PPGpS can display Google or OpenStreetMap maps in connected mode.
*INSTRUMENTS:
PPGpS provides the altitude, vario, bearing, magnetic compass, acceleration and ground speed.
With just one click on instruments you switch easily between different data modes : instantaneous, average and maximum values.
Altimeter can be set to actual altitude or elevation (QHN, QFE) just by longpressing on the altimeter.
*WAYPOINTS:
Create waypoints by tapping on the map or by entering their GPS coordinates.
Select a waypoint with one click on the waypoint instrument (WPT).
Rename or remove a waypoint from the contextual menu of the waypoint list.
Follow the displayed route (bearing, estimated travel time and distance).
Waypoints are automatically loaded at startup and saved at the end of the session.
*WIND AND SPEEDS HUD:
The average ground speeds are graphically displayed for every azimuth.
The wind direction is displayed (red arrow) and may be reset at any time during the flight.
*RETURN HOME:
Home direction and Estimated Travel Time to return home is always displayed (shaded red line).
Computations are done according to the wind for accurate results.

It doesnt work anymore on new iOS
Need stability fix. Iphone 5
I really really like this app. So useful to have on board if youre flying point to point or away from your launch point. The SOS feature is a nice tool as well so you can send your buddys a location to pick you up if you land out. The only issue Im having though, is the app allows the iPhone to go to sleep. I know there exists options in the IOS setting to prevent the phone from going to sleep, but my iPhone is a work phone and that option has been removed administratively (I cant even see it). This means the SPP itself needs to prevent the iPhone from sleeping. The code is readily available to do so and Ive requested this functionality to be added. The developers are quick responders so I know itll be looked at when they can. Ill post an update. Bottom line, this is an excellent PPG app. Do yourself a favor and get it. Its way cheap for everything it does.
The developer doesnt care about the product. I bought this app for around 6 months ago but they didnt make it better and update it. Just once for ios9. It doesnt have a compass and doesnt use internal barometer in iPhone 6. I sent them an email but they didnt reply to me
